The Morgantown Market Place is now open every Saturday morning through the first week of November! Over 40 vendors gather every week to bring the freshest produce, meats, eggs, breads and much more. All
products are made or grown within a 50 mile radius, so you can be sure your purchases are supporting the local family farms and communities.
The market has been a community staple since 2002, when a small group of producers, community supporters and West Virginia University Davis College representatives formed an advisory board with the goal of establishing a market that would be an outlet for local farmers to supply quality, home-grown produce that would consistently attract consumers throughout the season.
We encourage you to visit the Morgantown Market Place while you’re in town to experience all that the community has to offer and learn more about the local farms and suppliers. The Morgantown Farmer’s Market is open every Saturday from 8:30am – 12:00pm. Located in the heart of downtown, on the corner of Spruce and Fayette Streets, it is the first solar market in West Virginia.
